Shopease Foods Inc. (“Shopease,” “we,” “us”) is a family-run food delivery company based at 7-774 Rye Street, Peterborough, Ontario K9J 6W9. You can reach us at info@shopeasefoods.com or (705) 745-4242.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It follows Canada’s privacy law (PIPEDA) and anti-spam law (CASL).

What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site — the food-plan survey, the contact form, a financing pre-approval, or a careers application — we collect the information you give us. That can include your name, phone number, email, mailing address, household details, and what your family likes to eat.

If you ask to be pre-approved for financing, you may also give us your date of birth, employment and income details. We do NOT ask for your Social Insurance Number, banking information, or ID numbers on this website — those are only handled in person or over the phone with a Food Planner if you choose to move forward.

Why we use it

• To build your custom food plan and give you a price.
• To have a Food Planner follow up with you about your order.
• To arrange delivery and provide customer service.
• To assess financing when you request it (only with your consent).
• To send you offers or updates — only if you have opted in, and you can opt out any time.

Consent (CASL)

We only send you marketing texts or emails if you have checked the box giving us permission. You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP to any text, using the unsubscribe link in any email, or contacting us directly. Messages about an order you have placed (scheduling, delivery, follow-up) are service messages and are sent so we can fulfill your order.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run our business — for example, our customer messaging and CRM provider, our e-signature provider for paperwork, our financing partners (only when you apply), and delivery carriers. These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide their service to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and business obligations, then securely dispose of it.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal requirements. Contact us at info@shopeasefoods.com or (705) 745-4242 and we will respond.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
